Workplace Coaching - Local Government Example, North Devon District Council
Coaching Project Aims:
To support the Council’s implementation of a performance management programme designed to support the development of managerial excellence and individual achievement.
Coaching Project Structure:
We were asked to build an in-house coaching capability and have trained just under 20 individuals to fulfil this role. Participants followed a two-month programme followed by group mentoring sessions to support internal coaches as they began their work.
Coaching Project Outcomes:
'Following the training that was implemented by Results Coaching Systems we were able to set up a network of coaches which has helped to support our performance management framework. We found the training energising and motivating which brought in fresh ideas to the Council.’ - Angela Gizzi, Head of Human Resources.
