ICF Credentialing
The International Coach Federation (ICF) is the largest global association of coaches with over 14,000 members. The ICF has been a leader in establishing both ethical standards and coaching competencies worldwide.
The ICF offers credentials both to individuals and to coach training agencies. Results Coaching Systems is an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) provider.
The purpose of the ICF credentialing program is:
- Establish and administer minimum standards for credentialing professional coaches and coach training agencies
- Assure the public that participating coaches and coach training agencies meet or exceed these minimum standards
- Reinforce professional coaching as a distinct and self-regulating profession
Applying for an ICF Credential
There are two different ways of applying for your ICF Credentials.
- ACTP Application: for individuals who have completed an ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP)
- Portfolio Application: for individuals who have not completed a full ACTP or who have completed coach training with other schools not on the ACTP list.

All of our courses are ICF accredited, so even if you apply via the Portfolio route all you have to do is list the course, rather than give details of its content.
