----------------------------------------------------------

We know that choosing a coach training programme is not easy these days. The growth of coaching worldwide, both as a profession and as a management skill, has brought with it an explosion in training providers.

For us, the following are essential to your success as a professional coach:

  • understanding how the mind works and the principles of coaching;

  • developing the skills to facilitate an effective coaching conversation;

  • learning from the live experience of coaching clients as early as possible;

  • building a range of coaching frameworks to meet different coaching scenarios

Coaching is both an art and a science. At its heart is the coaching conversation. Developing the skill to facilitate this conversation effectively comes only from practice.

The science, namely our growing understanding of how the mind works, suggests that certain types of coaching conversation are more likely than others to help our clients make the changes they want. Understanding these theories is the foundation of our training.

More importantly, just as it takes time for our clients to develop new ways of thinking and behaving that allow them to realise their full potential, so too does the development of your coaching skills. This is why the ICF, which has accredited our programme, asks that you both learn about coaching as well as do it to gain its globally recognised coaching credential.

Our course is designed to give you lots of practical experience as you learn.
